Minot Parks has announced a successful opening day for the 2025-2026 season of Fun Zone, with 128 attendees participating on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the free, family-focused program at the Minot Auditorium’s Armory.
Fun Zone, offered Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon, provides a safe, active and engaging space for children ages 10 and younger during the cold winter months. Children can enjoy a variety of activities, including toys, bounce castles, coloring stations and more. Bounce castles are made
possible through a partnership with the Minot Area Community Foundation. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Fun Zone will run through March 26. The program will take a holiday break from Dec. 23-Jan. 1 and will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
“We love seeing families come together to play, explore and make memories at Fun Zone,” said Elly
DesLauriers, executive director for the Minot Park District. “The strong turnout on opening day shows how valued indoor recreation space is in our community, and we’re excited to offer another season of free, accessible fun for Minot’s youth.”
