League of Women Voters of ND elects leaders

Jannine Paulson of Stanley and Cheryl Bonebrake of Minot were among individuals elected recently to the state board of directors for the League of Women Voters of North Dakota.

New officers and board members were installed at the organization’s state convention this month.

Kathy Tweeten of Bismarck was elected to a two-year term as state president, according to information from the league. Tweeten has been active with the Bismarck-Mandan chapter and she previously has served on the state board of directors.

Also elected to the state board were Mary C Tintes, vice president, West Fargo; Carol Sawicki, treasurer, Fargo; Amelia Doll, secretary, Bismarck; Miranda Nechepurenko, Grand Forks;

Randi Dombek, West Fargo; Kim Lee, Bismarck; Vicki Voldal Rosenau, Valley City; Tamara Harter, Grand Forks; and Roxane Romanick, Bismarck.
