Two Minot entities have been awarded funding from the North Dakota Development Fund, according to the N.D. Department of Commerce.

Oswill Properties LLC, Minot, will receive a $200,000 loan to purchase a building and expand its child care facility.

Scranton Holding Company Inc., Minot, received a nearly $2.65 million investment to complete FEL 2 and FEL 3 phases of its project. The company was awarded $3 million in 2024 for facility design and permitting. North American Iron, which plans to construct a pig iron plant in Minot, is a subsidiary of Scranton Holding Company.

"Each investment we make through the NDDF is a step toward a more resilient and diversified North Dakota economy," said Commerce Economic Development & Finance Deputy Director and Head of Investments and Innovation Shayden Akason in a news release. "By advancing innovation, infrastructure and industry growth, we're helping communities thrive and businesses scale for long-term success.
