Bravera has pledged $140,000 to the Minot Family YMCA and Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports to help replace the north gym hardwood floor.
The investment supports a space used by thousands of youth and adults each year through YMCA programs and Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports, which serves individuals living with physical and mental disabilities, according to information.
The Minot YMCA offers programming focused on youth development, family engagement and community wellness. Through its partnership with Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports, the facility provides inclusive opportunities such as wheelchair basketball, sports camps and adaptive fitness classes, serving nearly 37,000 individuals annually.
“This project is about more than a gym floor — it’s about creating a space where everyone can belong, play and thrive,” said Kelly Perrin, Bravera Minot regional president.
The new floor will support youth leagues, adult fitness classes and adaptive sports events. Prairie Grit’s work focuses on expanding access to sports and fitness for individuals with disabilities in rural North Dakota, where resources are often limited.
Bravera is an employee- and director-owned financial institution serving communities across North Dakota, Montana and Minnesota, with a focus on local reinvestment and community partnerships.
