Third Street bridge to reopen
The Third Street Northeast bridge is scheduled to reopen to traffic on Friday, Oct. 10, after being closed to vehicles since Sept. 16, according to the City of Minot. During the closure, crews replaced street light luminaires to LED, sealed deck joints, replaced an expansion joint seal, repaired deck spalls and the spalling concrete on piers 3 and 4, and replaced a bearing on pier 3, the city reported.
The repairs were made to ensure bridge safety while the city continues its planning for a future bridge replacement.
