Police arrested two individuals accused of charges including child neglect.

According to a Minot Police Department news release, officers made contact with Natasha Ann Davis, 29, and Travis Lee Legg, 48, both of Minot, at Radio City Park shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Davis and Legg were accompanied by their three children, who were between the ages of 3 years and 5 months. During the contact, officers learned Davis had an active Ward County warrant for her arrest. While assisting Legg with arrangements for the children’s care, officers discovered the infant’s car seat was not functioning properly, leaving the child unrestrained.

Officers attempted to fix the seat, and located a small bag containing white residue beneath a blanket under the infant. A subsequent search revealed a glass pipe with white residue and burn marks.

Davis and Legg were taken into custody and transported to the Ward County Jail. Both were charged with three counts of child neglect, a Class C felony. Davis was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia-second offense (Class C felony).
