One person injured in two-vehicle crash near Devils Lake
DEVILS LAKE – One person was injured in a vehicle-farm tractor crash on N.D. Highway 20 near Devils Lake Wednesday, Oct. 1.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 7:49 p.m., a 2021 Toyota Highlander, driven by a 76-year-old Devils Lake woman, and a 2005 Case IH farm tractor, driven by a 70-year-old Bottineau man, were southbound on Highway 20, 4 miles north of Devils Lake. The Toyota struck the left rear of the tractor. Both vehicles came to rest on the road.
The driver of the Toyota was seriously injured and taken by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake. The driver of the tractor was not injured but taken to the Devils Lake medical facility to be evaluated. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
