No Kings protest set for Minot

Minot and area residents will come together with millions of Americans across the country on Saturday, Oct. 18, in a nationwide day of nonviolent protest against authoritarianism at the second No Kings Day of Action.

Minot’s event runs from 2-4 p.m. along Broadway near Town and Country Shopping Center.

On June 14, more than 5 million people across all 50 states joined the first No Kings Day of Action. All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety.

Minot’s event is being organized by a coalition of local groups and is open to anyone interested in participating. A sign-making gathering is being planned for Saturday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Broadway Bean and Bagel.

Starting at $2.99/week.
