NDHP releases names in Watford City crash

WATFORD CITY – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified those involved in a two-vehicle crash near Watford City Sunday, Sept. 28.

Hannah Kocher, 25, Watford City, and a juvenile died in the crash. They were passengers in a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Jacob Shepard, 24, Watford City, who was seriously injured and airlifted to Bismarck. The name of the juvenile will not be released.

According to the Highway Patrol, at 8:30 a.m., the Ford and a 2006 Peterbilt truck pulling a trailer, driven by Mickey Gramley, 41, Bybee, Tennessee, collided at an intersection south of Watford City. Gramley disregarded the posted stop sign and the truck struck the car, according to the Highway Patrol. He was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
