A 21-year-old Minot man died in a vehicle rollover on Ward County Road 14 and 62nd Street Southwest, about three miles southwest of Minot, Saturday, Oct. 25.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 8:30 p.m., the Minot Police Department was in a vehicle pursuit of a suspect involved in a felony domestic violence incident. The fleeing vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, was westbound on Ward County Road 14 at a high rate of speed. The vehicle continued onto a gravel road and lost control, entered the ditch and rolled.

The driver was transported to a Minot hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead, according to the Highway Patrol. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, the Highway Patrol said.

The crash remains under the investigation of the Highway Patrol.
