Journey Church in Minot is serving as a collection point from Nov. 17-24 for Operation Christmas Child shoebox collections, according to Samaritan’s Purse.

Drop-offs can be made from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Nov. 17-21, and from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Drop-offs also can be made from 9-11 a.m. Saturday-Monday, Nov. 22-24. The church is located at 1805 2nd St. SE.

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has conducted Operation Christmas Child to collect and deliver gift-filled shoeboxes to children, including many who are suffering from war, poverty, disease and disaster. Operation Christmas Child hopes to reach another 12 million children in 2025 with the hope of Jesus.
