After 30 years as a gathering place for friends and families, Ground Round Grill & Bar in Minot announced it will officially close its doors at the end of day on Thursday, Oct. 23.

Owned and operated by Classic Restaurant Group of Bismarck, the Minot Ground Round became a local favorite after opening on Dec. 6, 1994. Known as “The Good Times Meeting Place,” Ground Round has been known for its service, food, free popcorn and friendly atmosphere.

“We are deeply grateful to our loyal guests, employees and the Minot community for nearly three decades of support,” Classic Restaurants Group said in a statement. “This restaurant has been a special place for the Minot community and we’re proud of the memories made here.”

Classic Restaurant Group will continue to operate the Ground Round in Bismarck, where gift cards will be honored.
