Grants support student services at ND colleges

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Education has announced grants of $2.14 million for student support services at six colleges across North Dakota, according to U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND.

The Student Support Services Program provides funding to assist students with basic college requirements and motivate them toward degree completion. Minot State University and Turtle Mountain College each will receive $272,364. Lake Region State College in Devils Lake will receive $306,505; University of Mary, $348,514; University of North Dakota, $415,200; and North Dakota State University, $523,609.
