Local Girl Scouts will showcase STEM at their BIG Event on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1-4 p.m. at Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center in Minot.

The Believe in Girls (BIG) Event is an opportunity to see how science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) related activities can be applied in the career field. STEM experiences help develop critical thinking skills, increase science literacy and cultivate the next generation of innovators.

Attendees work at their own pace through the different activities.
