Minot Fire Department crews were dispatched at 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, to the 600 block of 42nd Street Northeast for reports of a fire on the roof of AGT Foods.

Crews arrived on scene at 5:11 p.m. and found the grain conveyor leading to the bins on fire, according to fire department information.

Firefighters deployed a handline and used one elevated platform to extinguish the flames. After extinguishment, crews checked the bins for any fire extension and confirmed the blaze was contained to the conveyor.
