Edison Elementary will host a Veterans Day Parade and Music Program on Friday, Nov. 7.

The parade will take place from 1:50-2:10 p.m., followed by the music program at 2:30 p.m.

The Edison Sparks want to honor veterans’ commitment and dedication to the country with the drive-by parade, according to school information.

Veterans are invited to drive around the perimeter of Edison Elementary between 1:50 and 2:10 p.m. Staff and students will be waiting outside to celebrate. Drivers should start at the stop sign on the northwest corner of Edison, head east around the block, stay in their cars, follow traffic rules and drive slowly while keeping moving.

The school is located at 701 17th Ave. SW. Veterans are invited to attend the music program at 2:30 p.m.
