Lace up your running shoes and join the fun on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Magic City Turkey Trot 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run at Dakota Bark Park in Minot.

Hosted by the Magic City Figure Skating Club Synchro Team, this family-friendly event helps local synchronized skating athletes cover ice time, travel and competition costs.

The event begins at 9 a.m. Participants who register early receive a commemorative race T-shirt. There also will be pre- and post-race beverages provided by Blissful Bee, photo ops and prizes for the best turkey-themed attire. The event is open to ages 6 and older.
