Minot’s Third Street Northeast bridge will close temporarily to all vehicle traffic beginning Tuesday, Sept. 16, according to the City of Minot. The closure is expected to last up to four weeks.

Crews will be replacing street light luminaires to LED, sealing deck joints, replacing an expansion joint seal and repairing deck spalls and the spalling concrete on a bridge pier. The addition of this second pier to the previous repair plan, and because of how that pier is constructed, bridge closure time has been extended. However, the project will make significant improvements to the bridge, the city reported.
