North Dakota State University Extension is offering a free QPR Suicide Prevention Certification training Monday, Sept. 29, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the NDSU Extension Ward County office in Minot.

Participants will become equipped to recognize the warning signs of suicide and take action. Participants will learn how to Question someone about suicide, Persuade them to seek help, and Refer them to appropriate resources.

The workshop is for everyone. No prior experience is needed. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the workshop which is valid for two years. For more details, contact NDSU Extension in Minot
