Rift to perform at Sibyl Center Saturday

STANLEY – Rift returns to the Sibyl Center in Stanley on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. with its wide variety of high energy music.
This four-piece cover band delivers a performance that spans popular genres of classic country, classic rock, and modern hits and keeps crowds engaged and dancing.
The band includes Shawn Oban, who provides lead vocals. A seasoned performer, he has fronted several successful bands, including Higherground and Junk, and continues to play solo acoustic gigs across the region. When he’s not on stage, Oban serves as a middle school principal with Bismarck Public Schools.
Brad Stockert, on percussion, has been drumming and performing professionally since the late 1970s. A veteran educator, he serves as a percussion specialist for Bismarck Public Schools. His extensive career includes roles as a performer, teacher, adjudicator, composer and mentor.
Guitarist David Augustadt has played for more than 25 years. He is band director at Wachter Middle School.
Douglas Klein, who plays bass guitar, is an adjunct music instructor at Bismarck State College, where he teaches guitar, bass and digital audio production. His rhythmic foundation and technical expertise anchor Rift’s sound.
