Minot Parks brings back Logger Fest
Minot Parks has announced the return of Logger Fest at Oak Park. Logger Fest is an outdoor festival combining family friendly lumberjack activities and German Oktoberfest.
The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, from noon-6 p.m..
Logger Fest is a fun-filled day of music, retail and craft vendors, food trucks, dog races, axe throwing, yard games, face painting with Nature’s Nook and hula hoop fun with Hoopspiration. It includes a strength-based steinholding contest and hammerschlagen, a game that involves hammering a nail into a log.
Scheduled fun include:
– Rhythm and Rhyme DJ Services, 1:30-5:30 p.m.
– Small Dog Race, 2:15-2:45 p.m.
– Big Dog Race, 2:45-3:15 p.m.
