The Minot Public Library, Minot Public Schools and Ward County Public Library will host Literacy in the Field from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, on the Edison Elementary football field.

The community event will feature guest readers sharing their favorite stories, visits with READ Dogs, and hands-on activities and projects with community partners. Children will receive a free book, and door prizes will be available throughout the evening.
