CHI St. Alexius to close Minot Medical Plaza

CHI St. Alexius Health confirmed on Wednesday, Sept. 24, that it is discontinuing primary care services in Minot in November.

According to a statement from CHI St. Alexius Health, the decision to discontinue primary care services in Minot came after careful consideration, and the clinic will be working with patients to transition their care by late November. The Minot clinic provided primary care, imaging and lab services and employed nine providers along with support staff.

“Our mission has always been to provide the very best care for the communities we serve,” the CHI St. Alexius statement read. “The Minot community continues to have strong healthcare options. We are grateful to have been a part of caring for the community and are currently working with staff to find employment opportunities at our Bismarck and Garrison locations.”

A sign posted at the entrance of the Minot Medical Plaza indicates the clinic will close its doors on Nov. 21.

CHI St. Alexius has 11 other locations, according to the Catholic health system’s website, including Bismarck, Mandan, Williston, Dickinson, Garrison and Devils Lake.

Starting at $2.99/week.
