Annual Pumpkin Walk at Woodland Trail set
Minot Park District’s free, annual Pumpkin Walk at Woodland Trail will run from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10-11, and will feature food trucks and thousands of carved pumpkins lighting the trail.
“JLG is thrilled to sponsor the Minot Park District’s Pumpkin Walk! We love supporting our communities, and there’s no better way to help our community thrive than bringing people together outdoors,” said Katelyn Crider, project manager at JLG Architects. “My family is excited to walk Woodland Trail and admire the creative pumpkins and efforts of businesses and organizations from across the community.”
Organizers said pumpkin pledges have surpassed previous goals, with this year’s target set at 2,000. Individuals and businesses may pledge pumpkins, and those who contribute 10 or more will receive signage at their display. Lights and setup will be provided by the park district.
Parking will be available at the Dakota Bark Park on Highway 83 Bypass West, with additional lighting along the walking path to Woodland Trail. The Woodland Trail lot will be reserved for handicap-accessible parking. Visitors are encouraged to dress warmly and bring flashlights.
