Two arrested for drug delivery to juveniles

Minot Police arrested two individuals in connection with delivering controlled substances to juveniles.

On Sunday, July 27, the Minot Police Department was contacted by a parent who suspected her 16-year-old daughter was being sold Adderall and marijuana, according to Minot Police information.

Following an investigation, detectives identified Brynn Elizabeth Swanson, 20, and Jason Alex Forsman, 21, as suspects. On Thursday, Aug. 28, about 2:30 p.m., arrest warrants were obtained, and both individuals were taken into custody without incident at Forsman’s residence.

Swanson has been charged with delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance within 300 feet of a public park, a Class A felony; three counts of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance-Adderall, Class B felonies; and four counts of delivery of a controlled substance-marijuana, Class C felonies. Forsman has been charged as an accomplice to the same offenses as Swanson, resulting in matching counts for each charge.

Both were transported to the Ward County Jail.

The controlled substances were allegedly delivered to juveniles ages 16 and 17.
