This past month of July the total moisture was 5.25 inches which is 2.91 inches above the long-term average of 2.34 inches, according to Austin Kraklau of the North Central Research Extension Center, south of Minot.

He said the average temperature in July was 68.2 degrees which is 0.4 degrees below the 118-year, long-term average of 68.6 degrees.

He said the lowest temperature of the month was 46 degrees on July 17 and the high was 98 degrees on July 10.
