Area residents age 60 and older are invited to enjoy a free day at the zoo as the annual Senior Safari returns to Roosevelt Park Zoo Wednesday, Aug 27.

The Trinity Health, Minot Commission on Aging and zoo event will offer free zoo admission for seniors beginning at 10 a.m.

A $5 boxed lunch will be available through the Minot Commission on Aging. Those interested in reserving a meal must call 852-0561 by Monday, Aug. 25.

From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Trinity Health departments will host educational booths at the zoo as part of the day’s programming.
