Prairie Grit offers classes for preschool ages
Prairie Grit Therapy has announced it has a few spots left in Little Gritters Preschool and Tiny Gritters Pre-Preschool.
Enrollment is open to all families; children do not need to receive therapy services at Prairie Grit to attend.
Little Gritters Preschool offers a sensory-rich, play-based learning environment for children ages 3 to 5. Led by a licensed teacher and skilled therapists, the program blends early academics, hands-on activities, and social learning to prepare children for a smooth and confident start to kindergarten. It will be offered three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m.-noon.
Tiny Gritters Pre-Preschool is designed for preschool-aged children who aren’t quite ready for the full preschool experience. With a smaller class size, flexible pacing and a nurturing routine, it gives children extra time, attention and support to build skills before stepping into Little Gritters. It will be offered twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday from 1-3 p.m.
“Every child’s path to school readiness is unique,” says Krystal Butgereit. executive director at Prairie Grit, said in a news release. “Some children thrive right away in a traditional preschool setting, while others benefit from a smaller step. That’s why we created Tiny Gritters, to give those children the time, support and confidence they need to reach their full potential.”
The start date is Sept. 2 at Minot Family YMCA, 3515 16th St SW. Contact Prairie Grit Therapy for enrollment information.
