Make a Scene Kids Theatre presents ‘Madagascar’

Young performers from Make a Scene Kids Theatre are set to enchant audiences with their new production of ‘Madagascar,’ a family-friendly show running from Sept. 26-28 at Minot Central Middle School. The show features a cast of 23 young actors from fourth to eighth grades.

“The talent brought to stage by these young actors will leave you asking for more,” said Allison Auch, executive director of Full STEAM Ahead, in a news release. “We are incredibly proud of the hard work these young actors have put in. This play has allowed them to not only hone their craft but also build confidence and create lasting friendships. The energy and passion they bring to the stage are truly remarkable.”

The students have been learning music, choreography and blocking. The experience goes beyond performing, teaching participants valuable skills in teamwork, discipline and creative expression, according to the release.

“Madagascar, A Musical Adventure Jr.’ will be performed on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Full STEAM Ahead or at the door.

Starting at $2.99/week.
