An “Active Parenting: First Five Years” class series will be offered online in September through the North Dakota State University Extension Parent and Family Resource Center.

A child’s first five years are the foundation for a lifetime of loving and learning. The class will provide information about ages and stages, the importance of nurturing young children, effective positive discipline strategies and ways to encourage early learning.

The free class begins Monday, Sept. 8, and continues for the next three Mondays, through Sept. 29, from 7-8:30 p.m. Contact the Parent and Family Resource Center at NDSU Extension-Ward County to register.
