9th annual food truck festival set for Oak Park
Oak Park will be filled with delicious food, fun activities, vendors and great music during the 9th Annual Minot Food Truck Festival on Sunday, Aug. 24. The event runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
New this year, festival-goers can experience Touch a Tractor with Dakota Truck and Farm, enjoy lively side-stage acts and demonstrations, meet the Hot Tots and Honeybee mascots, and watch a live car detailing demonstration by Grand Tour Car Club.
The festivities will kick off with the festival’s first-ever 5K run.
The Minot Food Truck Festival will feature many different food trucks/stands, including tacos, burgers and ice cream. There will be live music, a beer garden and a variety of activities for all ages.
The Minot Food Truck Festival is a fundraiser for ND Strong, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating students in the ever-evolving world of media and technology.
“It is amazing the amount of support we have received with the Minot Food Truck Festival, and unbelievable to think that we are already in our ninth year,” said Eric Thoemke, director of ND Strong, in a news release. “We are so grateful for our great community.”
