Eloise Ogden/MDN First Western Bank & Trust brought the tailgate party to the North Dakota State Parade on Saturday. The parade unit was selected winner of the Grand Marshal award, one of 12 parade awards presented.

Winners of the 2025 North Dakota State Parade have been announced.

They are:

– Grand Marshal Award: Western Bank & Trust

– Flickertail Award: West Minot Church of God

– Heritage Award, Mema’s Meats

– North Dakota State Fair Award: Giscon LLC

– Pioneer Award: Dakota Truck and Farm/Harry’s Tire Service

– Roughrider Award: Budweiser Clydesdales.

– Chairman’s Award: Paws Dakota Resort

– Youth Sweepstakes Award: Minot North Cheerleading

– Parade Committee Award: Ackerman-Estvold

– Governor’s Award: Minot State University

– Dakota Proud Award: Daughters of Norway

– Lewis & Clark Award: Surrey Fire Protection District

The parade was held in Minot on Saturday. All entries in the parade are not judged but only those requesting to be judged. The awards will be presented today.

The theme of this year’s parade was “Small Town Roots, Big Dakota Touchdowns,” with retired football coach Randy Hedberg as grand marshal.
