STANLEY – The Hoppers will perform in concert at the Sibyl Center in Stanley on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The multi-award winning family group has been singing to global audiences for 68 years, with appearances ranging from presidential religious inaugural ceremonies and New York’s Carnegie Hall to singing conventions and church platforms. Known as America’s Favorite Family of Gospel Music, the group has been a favorite on the Gaither Homecoming videos and tours.
The Hoppers are embarking on the next chapter, led by the second and third generations. Founding members Claude and Connie have entrusted their legacy to their son Dean, his wife Kim, and granddaughter Karlye, who will continue to inspire worship through song.
Kim Hopper has received recognition as a 25-time, consecutive winner of female vocalist awards, while Dean Hopper’s steadfast sound and management have been the cornerstone of the ministry for decades. Their eldest daughter, Karlye, completes the trio with her symphonic alto tones, creating a unique harmony that is exclusive to immediate family.
