Ribbon-cutting set for Broadway Circle July 31

The City of Minot announced it will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to formally mark the completion of the Broadway Circle development, which is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to expand access to affordable housing.

The ceremony will take place July 31 at 2 p.m. at Broadway Circle, located at 1901 South Broadway. Members of the public are invited to attend.

Broadway Circle is a multi-use development that features a six-unit emergency family homeless shelter, a 17-unit low to moderate income housing complex and commercial spaces. The project was supported through funding from the National Disaster Resilience Program and reflects a collaborative effort among the City of Minot, local development partners and community stakeholders.

“This project is about more than buildings. It’s about creating opportunities, supporting residents and strengthening the future of Minot,” said CDBG Administrator Chris Plank. “Broadway Circle is a shining example of what we can accomplish through partnerships and a shared vision for our community.”

Pathfinder Services of North Dakota submitted a proposal to lease and operate Broadway Circle. Minot City Council accepted the proposal on May 5.

The event will include remarks from city officials, project partners and representatives from supporting agencies, followed by an optional tour of the site.

Starting at $2.99/week.
