Remaining education formula funds to be released

BISMARCK – Sen. John Hoeven, R-ND, announced July 25 that the U.S. Department of Education will release the remaining state education grants that have been under review by the Office of Management and Budget.

Last week, Hoeven announced the release of funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers, which supports after-school programs in North Dakota.

“We heard about the importance of these funds, particularly the after-school funding, from our local educators, and appreciate that the Department of Education is releasing all of the funding,” Hoeven said. “These education funds go directly to the state and local school districts for things like recruiting and training teachers, adult education as well as other local needs.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
