PARSHALL – The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation will celebrate the grand opening of the Heritage Place Lucky Mound Assisted Living Center in Parshall today at 11 a.m.

A program will be held including Mark Fox, chairman of the MHA Nation; MHA Nation Color Guard, VFW Post 9061; Thunder Butte Singers; Randy Lindemann of RML Architects; and Woodstone, Inc., according to MHA Nation information.

The living center, located at 3 Nokota Drive, has 20 congregate-style units, gardens and other cultural therapeutic spaces. It is part of the MHA Nation’s commitment to create safe, respectful and supportive environments for MHA Nation elders.
