FFA, 4-H graduates honored during ND State Fair

The North Dakota State Fair, in partnership with the Minot Area Community Foundation, awarded six $1,000 scholarships to members of the North Dakota State Fair Graduating Class of 2025 during a presentation held July 23 at the fair.

This year’s scholarship recipients, selected through a random drawing, are Alyssa Korgel, Minot; Baily Kunz, New Salem; Karady Evans, New England; Martin Heberlie, Des Lacs; and Rose Schiele and Zack Volson, both Balfour.

Additional members of the 2025 graduating class who were honored include: Haley McLeod, Lisbon; Paige Delaney, Alexander; Abigail Ryun, Woodworth; Madilyn Spatola, Rocklake; Austin Lakefield, Mohall; Brekka Kuss, Woodworth; Elizabeth Michel, Berthold; Brooklyn Bloms, Carpio; Andrew Zikmund, Park River; Walker Cundiff, Keene; Kristyn Bauer, Zap; Noah Harriman, Bowman; Sigryn Henke, Stanton; Aiyanna Jaeger, Granville; Kaden Nelsen and Holdyn Jacobson, both Leeds; Isabel Wendel, Carrington; Hannah Myrdal and Katelyn Hall, both Edinburg; Camilynne Walkers, Cando; Ellie Bargmann, Mandan; Makayla Kraft, Gracie Rauschenberger and Connor Rudland, Jennifer Volson, Amber Braasch, all Minot; Katy Roise, Powers Lake; Aubree Lunde, Upham; Natalee Becker, Sawyer; Colton Green, Maddock; Macy Monson, Venturia; Jericka Schenfisch, Makoti; Aubrianna Staloch, Williston; and Miranda Novodvorsky, Douglas.

To be recognized as part of the State Fair Graduating Class of 2025 and eligible for the scholarship, students must have exhibited and/or competed at the fair for a minimum of three years and have been a member of 4-H or FFA for at least four years. Applicants must be North Dakota residents and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or trade school for the upcoming academic year.
