Brass Band of Minot awarded arts grant
BISMARCK – The Brass Band of Minot received $3,350 to assist with its performances in the first round of grants awarded recently by the North Dakota Council on the Arts.
Grants were awarded through the Fiscal Year 2026 Community Arts Access program. The program provides up to $4,000 in arts activity support to both arts and non-arts organizations, as well as unincorporated groups, to help make the arts more accessible to communities across the state.
Fifteen organizations received funding in the first round to support projects taking place between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
Other area grant awards included $4,000 to the Wells County Fair in Fessenden for free stage performances.
