A suspect in an investigation of a March overdose that sent a woman to the hospital has been arrested.

According to Minot Police Department information, police responded to a report on March 7 of an overdose at a residence in northwest Minot. The victim survived the overdose and was transported to a Minot hospital for further evaluation.

Through an investigation involving interviews, cell phone data analysis and search warrants, investigators identified Mylin G. Wicker, 43, Minot, as the source of the narcotics involved in the incident.

Wicker was served with an arrest warrant on Wednesday for delivery of a controlled substance resulting in death or injury, a Class A felony. Wicker was already in custody at the time at the Ward County Jail on unrelated drug charges.

Wicker made his initial appearance in North Central District Court on Thursday. The investigation remains ongoing.
