Public engagement period opens for metro transportation plan

The public engagement period is now open in the continued development of the region’s 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan.

According to information from the Central Dakota Metropolitan Planning Organization, the purpose of the engagement period is to present information about regional transportation issues, consider potential transportation projects to address those issues and understand public feedback for future investment options. Information for review and comment includes transportation project investment options related to available federal transportation funding through 2050.

The engagement period is open from June 27 through July 30. Information is available on the project website and will be presented during a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, July 15. A recording of the presentation will be made available following the meeting. Feedback and comments are being gathered on investment priorities through an online survey.

The project information and the online survey can be found at bit.ly/Move2050.

Starting at $2.99/week.
