DUNSEITH –The International Peace Garden will host its annual Gala in the Garden on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 5-10 p.m., featuring an evening of live music, auctions and community engagement.

Themed “Peace, Love & Petals: A Groovy Night in the Garden,” the event encourages attendees to dress in retro attire inspired by the 1960s and 1970s. Activities will include silent and live auctions and performances, with proceeds going toward operational and conservation efforts at the Garden.

“The Gala in the Garden brings together supporters from both sides of the border to celebrate the mission of peace and environmental stewardship,” Tim Chapman, Peace Garden CEO said.

The International Peace Garden is located on the border between Manitoba and North Dakota and has served as a symbol of friendship between the two nations since 1932.
