Former wing commander nominated for one star
A former missile wing commander at Minot Air Force Base, Col. Kenneth McGhee, has been nominated by President Trump for appointment to the grade of brigadier general, according to a June 13 announcement by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
McGhee was commander of the 91st Missile Wing from June 2022-June 2024.
He is serving as senior military assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force, Department of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
