The Souris Valley Amateur Radio Club (SVARC) invites the public to Field Day 2025, a national emergency communications event hosted locally on Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29, just north of the Magic City Discovery Center in Minot.

Field Day is the largest amateur radio event in North America, at which operators set up temporary stations to test emergency preparedness, contact others across the country and engage the public in hands-on demonstrations.

Visitors are welcome to stop by, learn more about amateur radio, and even try getting on the air. The event begins at noon on June 28, and runs continuously for 24 hours.
