Ward County hosts 4-H Project Expo Contest

The Ward County 4-H members showed off their knowledge, creativity, and demonstration skills at the 2025 4-H Project Expo Contest held at Dakota Square Mall in Minot on May 20.
The contest is aimed to help kids develop skills in planning, preparing and presenting a display or educational exhibit. 4-H members are evaluated by judges and also interact with the public during the event. Those who earn a blue ribbon or higher qualify to advance to the North Dakota State Fair 4-H Project Contest on Monday, July 21.
The contest is divided into three age groups: Cloverbud, ages 5 to 7, Pre-Teen, ages 8 to 12 and Teen, ages 13 to 18. Each individual will select a topic, conduct research and create a display to show at the contest.

– Hadley Yoder, Minot, Mighty Mustangs 4-H Club, blue ribbon in Animal Science: Poultry.
