Trinity Health announces the donation of ultrasound equipment to Minot High School and Minot North High School.
Thanks to the generous grant from the Helmsley Charitable Trust, which enabled Trinity Health to purchase new ultrasound equipment, Trinity Health is, in turn, supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals by donating equipment to the Healthcare Careers programs at both schools, according to information from Trinity Health
“At Trinity Health, we believe in investing in the future of healthcare,” said Dusty Zimmerman, director of Trinity Health Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of the Helmsley Charitable Trust, we were able to purchase new equipment and donate our previous ultrasound machines to the community. By donating the ultrasound equipment, we’re giving students hands-on experience with real medical technology, helping to inspire and prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals right here in our community.”
In addition to the benefit of the students receiving hands-on learning with real medical technology, the equipment allows the students to become familiar with equipment they can see in the field, creating a sense of comfortability and experience before they begin working with patients or furthering their education in a more specialized setting.
Giving students access to this technology helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical practice.
