NDHP seeks information about driver

MAX – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is seeking information about the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup involved in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 83, north of Max, on Thursday night. The driver died in the crash.

Anyone knowing someone who drives a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado who has been out of contact since Thursday is asked to call 328-2447 or email ndhpsafetyedu@nd.gov and reference case 2025003501.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 11:15 p.m., the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 83 and had crossed over into Ward County. At an unknown location the vehicle turned around and began traveling south in the northbound lanes. The Silverado struck a 2023 Ford F-250 pickup towing a car trailer.

The three occupants of the Ford F-250 suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a Minot hospital. They include the driver, a 31-year-old male from Williston, and passengers, a 30-year-old female from Williston and a juvenile.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
