Moose Lodge to host annual car show

The Minot Moose Lodge will host its annual “Gettin Loose at the Moose” car show today from 5-8 p.m. Members from the Dakota Cruisers will be in attendance with their cars, along with other car enthusiasts.

The show started around eight years ago, according to longtime member Bill Klimpel.

“It started after the fairground no longer had room for the car show during the fair,” he said.

At this time Klimpel and a few other members started to search for a new place to hold the annual car show.

“I called over to the Moose Lodge and they were excited to host our show,” Klimpel said. The show has been hosted at the Moose Lodge each year ever since.

“We will have hotdogs, brats and beverages available as well,” Klimpel said. “We are excited to see everyone out at this family friendly event. We will have cars dating back as late as 1935 and newer cars as well. There will be something for everyone.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
