On Friday about 8:50 p.m., Minot Central Dispatch received a report of a fire in a set of detached garage units in southeast Minot, according to City of Minot information.

Fire crews from the Minot Fire Department arrived on scene and encountered heavy smoke coming from the structure. Crews made entry to locate the source of the fire and began suppression efforts. Ventilation was conducted, and the fire was brought under control.

No injuries were reported.

All Minot Fire Department stations responded to the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
