FAA grants $5.8M for ND airport projects
WASHINGTON – Area airports will share in $5.8 million announced by the Federal Aviation Administration from the Airport Infrastructure Grant program for airport projects across North Dakota, according to Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D.
The Bottineau Municipal Airport Authority will receive $171,000 to rehabilitate one existing airport rotating beacon.
The Crosby Municipal Airport Authority will receive $120,000 to construct a new 4,800-square-foot, sponsor-owned hangar for aircraft storage and maintenance, which will assist the airport in being self sustaining.
Other airports receiving funds are in Bismarck, Jamestown, Mercer County, Mandan, Glen Ullin and on the Standing Rock Reservation.
