STANLEY – A 29-year-old Bowbells man died after his motorcycle left the roadway north of Stanley on N.D. Highway 8 on Sunday.

According to N.D. Highway Patrol information, about 8 p.m., the man was driving a 2021 Indian Scout motorcycle traveling north on the highway. The motorcycle left the road on a curve and vaulted over a field approach. The impact of the crash broke apart the motorcycle. The driver, who has not yet been identified, died on scene. The driver was not wearing a helmet, according to Highway Patrol information.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
